This is one role, not two.
We are looking for someone who can build the marketing engine and own the conversations that turn it into revenue. Strategy and execution. Brand and pipeline. Content and closing.
If you only want to plan campaigns and hand them off, or only want to close leads handed to you, this role will not work. We need both, done by one person, with curiosity and ownership.
About The Out Factory
The Out Factory builds design-forward, hospitality-grade yurts. We ship globally to resorts, glamping operators, hoteliers, and homeowners across India, the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. We are building a global brand from India.

The Role
You will work closely with the founders and the marketing team to own marketing and sales end-to-end. Marketing builds the demand. Sales converts it. In a small team, the person who shapes the message should be the one having the conversation with the customer.
You will own everything from content and campaigns to inbound conversations and closing, for a product priced between ₹12-19 lakhs in India, and roughly $19K-$34K landed internationally.
What You Will Do: Marketing
1. Content and SEO/AEO
- Plan and ship blog posts, social posts, video, and long-form content across platforms
- Run SEO for our country-specific websites and AEO so we show up in AI search results
- Repurpose content across formats; turn one strong asset into ten
2. Reddit and Community Posting
- Run a multi-persona Reddit strategy across yurt, glamping, hospitality, design, and travel subreddits
- Research subreddits, post titles, and post bodies that fit each community's tone
- Track karma, mentions, engagement, and citation appearance in AI search
3. Group and Forum Outreach
- Identify and join relevant Facebook groups, forums, and online communities across our markets
- Run targeted messaging in these groups to spark conversations and inbound interest
- Build a calendar of group and forum activity by country and audience type
4. Influencer Outreach (Worldwide)
- Run campaigns with influencers across India, US, UK, Canada, and Australia
- Identify influencers in travel, architecture, design, glamping, and sustainable living
- Lead end-to-end outreach: shortlisting, first message, negotiation, content brief, and tracking
5. Social Media and Paid
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Own content, calendar, and engagement
- Run paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and selectively elsewhere; boost what's working, cut what isn't
6. Reviews, Trust, and Discovery
- Drive Google Reviews and Trustpilot across all markets; maintain Google Business profiles
- Build content and signals that make us trustworthy to a first-time visitor
7. Newsletter and Email
- Run our newsletter: content, sends, audience growth
- Nurture leads through email sequences
8. AI as a Core Working Tool
- Use AI across every part of the role: research, content, outreach, analytics, ideation
- Build and refine prompts, workflows, and automations that make your work meaningfully faster
- Aim to do the work of a small team, using AI to multiply what one person can ship in a week
What You Will Do: Sales
1. Own the Conversation
- Respond to inbound leads from website, social, and outreach campaigns
- Lead consultative discovery conversations. Understand the customer's vision, site, and budget
- Translate the product into customer benefit: design, durability, speed to market
2. Move the Deal
- Walk customers through pricing, options, and ROI math
- Manage follow-ups across weeks or months. Most decisions take time
- Host Experience Centre visits at our Bangalore facility when relevant
3. Own the Numbers
- Log every conversation in the CRM
- Run a weekly pipeline and marketing review with the founders
Who This Role Is For
- Has 1-2 years of experience across marketing or sales, ideally in a small or founder-led team
- Has hands-on experience with SEO, content, social, paid, or influencer outreach
- Is fluent in English and confident in talking to customers and pitching the product
- Is genuinely curious about the product and willing to learn it deeply
- Is comfortable running multi-country campaigns across India, US, UK, Canada, and Australia
- Hindi is a plus; any south Indian language is a bonus
- Is comfortable with CRM, analytics, and AI tools, and quick to pick up new ones
Who This Role Is NOT For
- You only want to do marketing or only want to do sales
- You need a defined process and team to lean on for every decision
- You prefer structured corporate environments with fixed working hours
Working Style
You will work closely with the founders and the marketing team. This means fast learning, high expectations, direct feedback, and high ownership.
We work alternate Saturdays - one Saturday on, one Saturday off.
Compensation
₹6,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per year with performance incentives.
