Role Overview
The role is B2C-led, with B2B partnerships serving as a strategic channel to reach aligned audiences, build credibility, and drive conversions for Self Pivot’s community experiences, workshops, and programs. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the founder, not a purely strategic or managerial position.
B2C & B2B Focus
While this role involves securing B2B partnerships with brands, platforms, colleges, and organizations, the primary objective of these collaborations is to drive B2C growth and conversions. B2B is viewed as a distribution and credibility channel that helps Self Pivot reach the right audiences and translate visibility into paid participation and long-term community growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Partnerships & Outreach
Secure paid brand partnerships, collaborations, and institutional tie-ups aligned with Self Pivot’s values
Pitch and position community mixers, workshops, and programs to brands, platforms, colleges, and organizations
Independently manage outreach → proposal → negotiation → conversion
Build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships rather than one-off collaborations
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
Conceptualize and execute creative marketing campaigns across social media and other relevant formats
Work closely with the creative function to ensure content, visuals, and narratives align with brand strategy
Identify the most effective ways to position Self Pivot across platforms and audience segments
Explore formats beyond social media where relevant (community-led, partnership-based, event-driven campaigns)
Growth, Conversion & Community Monetization
Drive B2C growth and conversions by leveraging B2B partnerships, paid collaborations, and campaigns
Ensure marketing efforts translate into registrations, participation, and revenue, not just visibility
Identify opportunities where community-led work can be monetized sustainably without compromising values
Track outcomes, analyze what’s working, and refine strategies to improve conversion
Founder Collaboration & Strategic Input
Work closely with the founder to:
Share market insights and audience feedback
Identify what is resonating and what needs refinement
Support the evolution of brand positioning and offerings
Act as a strategic execution partner, not just a task executor
Skills & Marketing Frameworks
Marketing & Campaign Skills
Strong understanding of marketing frameworks such as AIDA, funnels, audience journeys, and conversion-focused storytelling
Ability to design and run campaigns across formats including:
Social media (organic and collaboration-led)
Community and event-based campaigns
Partnership-driven launches
Clear understanding of how visibility translates into trust, leads, and paid conversions
Tools & Systems
Comfortable using tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, and similar platforms for:
Campaign planning and tracking
Outreach and partnership pipelines
Documentation and reporting
Familiarity with social media analytics and basic performance tracking
Research, Adaptation & Insight
Ability to research audiences, platforms, and trends to inform marketing and sales strategies
Willingness to test, learn, and adapt based on outcomes and feedback
Ability to feed insights back into brand strategy and positioning
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, growth, or partnerships
Proven ability to drive conversions and close collaborations, not just initiate conversations
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred
Candidates with equivalent practical experience in marketing, sales, partnerships, or growth roles will also be considered
Educational background should reflect an ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and engage responsibly with people and communities
Strong sense of brand positioning and creative thinking
Comfort with ownership, ambiguity, and iteration
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Prior experience in the mental health space is a plus, but not a requirement. What is essential is a strong sense of sensitivity, ethical awareness, and respect for the nature of mental health and community-led work, especially when designing campaigns, partnerships, and conversion strategies.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on experience, role scope, and contribution.
This role has the potential to grow into a Head position as the brand scales.
