About the Role: This internship focuses on product, market, and design research within the orthosis category (preventative and rehabilitation supports). You will work directly with one of the company’s directors to analyze the current market, understand product mechanics, and identify opportunities to build a differentiated new-age brand.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Conduct detailed research on orthosis products available in domestic and global markets.
- Map competitor product portfolios across categories such as knee, lumbar, wrist, shoulder, neck, elbows, feet, and ankle supports.
- Analyze product design, materials, mechanics, positioning, and pricing across leading brands.
- Track emerging trends in medical supports, rehabilitation products, and patient-centric design.
- Build structured research decks and databases summarizing insights and opportunities.
- Identify gaps in the current market that a new brand could address.
- Support early product and brand development through research insights.
