Role Overview:
A Marketing Research professional is responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data
about markets, consumers, and competitors to guide strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research: Conduct primary and secondary research to understand industry trends,
customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Survey & Data Collection: Design and execute surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data using statistical tools and generate actionable insights.
• Reporting: Create research reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Consumer Insights: Translate research into meaningful insights that inform marketing and
product strategies.
• Campaign Evaluation: Assess marketing campaign performance and recommend
improvements.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor strategies and benchmark performance.
• Trend Forecasting: Identify and report on emerging market and consumer trends.
Skills & Tools:
• Research tools like SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, SPSS, Excel, Tableau
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
