This position falls within our Subject-Specific Events & School Initiatives vertical, which focuses on creating high-impact student engagement platforms, institutional outreach initiatives, and specialised education events that connect universities with targeted student audiences, schools, counsellors, and industry stakeholders.

Role Overview
As a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Executive / Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and expanding Zista’s institutional partnerships and global client portfolio.
The role is ideal for professionals looking to build a long-term career in international education, strategic partnerships, and consultative business development. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build relationships, drive strategic outreach, and contribute to the organisation’s growth across multiple international markets.
This role offers strong exposure to global higher education engagement, international client management, strategic communication, market expansion, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support the development of new partnership and business opportunities across universities, higher education institutions, and education organisations globally
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective institutional partners and clients
- Conduct strategic outreach through email, LinkedIn, calls, networking platforms, and international conferences
- Initiate and nurture conversations with institutional stakeholders and decision-makers
- Support proposal development, presentations, partnership documentation, and strategic client communication
- Conduct market research and institutional mapping to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights across key regions
- Support relationship management with existing clients and partners to ensure long-term engagement and growth
- Coordinate internally with outreach, marketing, events, and leadership teams to support client requirements and partnership initiatives
- Maintain accurate tracking of outreach efforts, meetings, partnership pipelines, and business development activities
- Participate in institutional meetings, networking engagements, industry discussions, and international education events where required
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts across different regions and verticals
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Management, or related fields preferred

Work Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, outreach, client engagement, consulting, or related functions within international education
- Experience within international education, higher education partnerships, ed-tech, events, consulting, or related sectors would be an advantage
- Candidates with strong communication and relationship management capabilities from adjacent industries may also be considered
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to travel for events, meetings, and institutional engagements where required
- Willingness to work across international time zones when necessary
