Job Requirements
The incumbent will drive strategic market enablement initiatives across the power and renewable energy sector through stakeholder engagement, opportunity shaping, and policy tracking. The role focuses on building institutional relationships, identifying emerging opportunities, and strengthening state-level market positioning prior to tendering.
- Identify market trends and emerging opportunities across transmission, distribution, rooftop solar, distributed generation, and hybrid power solutions.
- Track state expansion in renewable energy programs and monitor government announcements, budgets, regulatory changes, and policy developments.
- Proactively shape and position opportunities before tender issuance.
- Develop and execute Business Development (BD) strategies to enhance market penetration and competitiveness.
- Drive state-level perception building and strategic positioning initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key sector stakeholders including: PGCIL, REC, PFC, SEBs, DISCOMs, Private Developers & EPC players
- Strengthen engagement with state utilities and regulatory bodies.
- Support government and institutional engagement for strategic projects.
- Track policy shifts and assess their impact on business strategy.
Work Experience
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in:
- Experience in transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Established network within state utilities and central power sector institutions.
- Stakeholder management

- Strategic relations
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of the power and energy industry and regulatory environment.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and government interface.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking with ability to influence opportunity development cycles.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong presentation skills and ability to prepare high-quality notes and briefing documents.
