About the Role
Seeking an experienced Senior Analyst – Market Data Management to support the management of market data services across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for vendor management, market data licensing, inventory management, contract administration, cost optimization, compliance, and stakeholder engagement across global business functions.
This role offers an opportunity to work closely with leading market data vendors, global exchanges, internal business teams, and technology stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of market data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end market data services including vendor relationships, licensing, inventory management, compliance, and reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand market data requirements and coordinate service delivery.
- Liaise with market data vendors and global exchanges regarding subscriptions, licensing, contracts, and service administration.
- Maintain accurate market data inventory records using market data management tools.
- Administer user entitlements including additions, transfers, modifications, and terminations across market data platforms.
- Manage market data contracts, renewals, pricing schedules, and vendor negotiations.
- Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure billing accuracy and cost control.
- Support exchange audits, licensing reviews, and compliance activities.
- Monitor market data usage and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and usage analytics for stakeholders.
- Participate in market data projects including onboarding of new services, vendor migrations, and business expansion initiatives.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and exchange policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience within Market Data Management, Market Data Operations, Vendor Management, Licensing Administration, or Market Data Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, FactSet, MSCI, S&P, ICE or similar providers.
- Experience managing market data inventory, entitlements, demand management, and user administration.
- Familiarity with market data inventory management tools such as MDSL Calero, InfoMatch/FITS, MDM platforms, or similar solutions.
- Experience handling market data licensing, exchange agreements, usage reporting, and audit requirements.
- Understanding of contract management, vendor negotiations, procurement processes, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with investment banks, financial institutions, or capital markets organizations.
- Exposure to exchange licensing frameworks and market data compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting Bloomberg terminal administration, Refinitiv/LSEG services, FactSet administration, or similar market data platforms.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
