About the Role
Varuna Marine Service is seeking a motivated Sales / Business Development Executive to support business growth in the maritime industry. This role suits energetic individuals who are keen to build client relationships, explore new business opportunities, and grow within a sales-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing sales and business development strategies.
Identify and engage potential clients, including shipowners, managers, and service providers.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Support negotiations, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
Maintain and update CRM systems with client interactions and sales progress.
Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and industry forums when required.
Requirements
0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
Basic understanding of sales tools and CRM systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.
