About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Design Administrator (Material and Substance Declaration Analyst) to join the R&D team, reporting directly to the Material and Substance Declaration Supervisor.

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Tres Centurias. 

As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:
  1. Reading, interpretation, and analysis of design drawings and Bill of Material structures.
  2. Use of software related to Substance and Material Declaration such as IMDS, iPCA, and many Marelli internal systems (SAP, ePIM, OnePLM, etc.)
  3. IMDS (International Material Data Systems) research and submissions to internal / external customers.
  4. Research and declaration for REACH & SCIP activities.
  5. Completion of global environmental regulation documents related to materials and substance of very high concern.
  6. Continuous monitor and maintenance of IMDS Global trackers.
  7. Follow up with suppliers and customers for MDS (Material Data Sheet) submissions and substance declarations, including customer portal submissions.
  8. Global networking across customers, suppliers, and other regional Marelli plants.
  9. Troubleshoots errors in IMDS with external suppliers in coordination with customer expectations.
  10. Responsible to approve / reject IMDS submissions from suppliers.
  11. Learn the specific requirements of the customers, IMDS Recommendations, and global environmental regulations such as REACH / SCIP and TSCA, etc.
  12. Identify and implement continuous improvements on processes and activities.
  13. Provide support to direct leadership in Special Project assignments.
  14. Support in financial activities, including but not limited to the following:
    • a. Department Purchase Requisitions.
    • b. Purchase Order management.
    • c. Invoice review, registration, and approvals.
    • d. Monthly expenditure analysis and error reporting.
  15. Demonstrate the moral and ethical rules and compliance within Company policies.
  16. Learn, Understand, and Maintain Marelli’s Employee Attributes.
What Qualifications you will bring:
  • College level bachelor’s degree required. Specialist training will be provided.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in related activities.
  • MS Office, Level-Intermediate

We are looking for a versatile team member who will join our Material and Substance Declaration team, inside Marelli’s Technology and Innovation function. This position has multiple responsibilities, reporting directly to the Material and Substance Declaration supervisor, who is based in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

The Design Administrator (Material and Substance Declaration Analyst) will help lead Marelli into a Sustainable future by supporting global environmental regulation investigation and declaration activities to satisfy OEM customer requirements. Some of the regulations are, but not limited to, IMDS, REACH/SCIP, TSCA, POPs, etc.
