The Product Information Manager will lead the product information strategy for the organizations HVAC and Plumbing verticals, ensuring a seamless and high-quality product data ecosystem across eCommerce, ERP, and partner platforms. This role is responsible for defining the roadmap for structuring, enriching, governing, and delivering product content across all digital channels.

Duties & Responsibilities

Product Content Ownership

  • Oversees digital product content and PIM integration across HVAC and Plumbing lines.
  • Defines user stories and workflows for end-to-end product data management.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, development, and data teams to optimize content presentation and usability.

Data Management and Strategy

  • Develop scalable content models and taxonomies to support merchandising and operations.
  • Ensures product data (e.g., specs, images, documents, pricing) is structured, searchable, and channel optimized.
  • Leads content enrichment efforts, including 360° imagery, technical documents, and regulatory data.

Cross Platform Integration

  • Coordinates with ERP, eCommerce, and CIMM2 teams to ensure seamless data synchronization.
  • Manages third-party content providers and syndication platforms (e.g., IDEA, Trade Service).
  • Oversees data quality, attribute mapping, and transformation logic across systems.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serves as the central point of contact for the digital product catalog.
  • Translates business needs into clear product and technical requirements.
  • Incorporates user feedback to enhance data usability and accessibility.

Metrics & Optimization

  • Defines and monitors KPIs related to data completeness, publish time, engagement, and SEO performance.
  • Leads testing initiatives to improve discoverability and conversion.
  • Ensures timely, high-quality content for digital campaigns and product launches.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in digital product management, data operations, or merchandising technology.
  • Proven experience with PIM or MDM tools (e.g., Salsify, Stibo, Akeneo) and large product catalogs.
  • Familiarity with HVAC or plumbing product lines, B2B distribution models, and technical data requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with structured data, spreadsheets, and system workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in using office technology, including computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems, and virtual meeting platforms, as required for daily responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Eclipse, SAP), eCommerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce), or CMS tools.
  • Knowledge of HVAC certification and standards (AHRI, DOE, ETL listings).
  • Background in B2B commerce or distribution preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves regular physical and sensory activity, including:

  • Bending, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), with intermittent standing and walking throughout the shift
