Position: Marathi Language Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $10–$30/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Translate documents and communications between English and Marathi with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Review, edit, and proofread Marathi content for clarity, consistency, and grammatical precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate Marathi usage across deliverables.
- Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and language reference materials.
- Support localization initiatives for Marathi-speaking audiences across digital and content platforms.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide structured feedback on Marathi language output.
- Contribute to training materials and best practices for Marathi language communication.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Marathi (written and spoken).
- Strong background in linguistics, translation, or related fields.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
- Proficiency with digital editing and content management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Marathi and English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
