Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Presales Technical Consultant to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and crafting compelling proposals that win deals. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer requirements and challenges to identify opportunities for applying your company's solutions.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, conference calls, and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses.
  • Work collaboratively with sales representatives and solution architects to design and propose technical solutions that meet customer needs and demonstrate the value proposition of your company's offerings.
  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging presentations to showcase your technical knowledge and solution capabilities to potential clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs) to illustrate the effectiveness of your solutions.
  • Manage the bid lifecycle, ensuring all technical aspects of proposals are complete, accurate, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams (engineering, product) to ensure the technical feasibility and deliverability of proposed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to your company's solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical consultant role.
  • Proven ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into clear and concise solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Experience in designing and proposing technical solutions that address customer pain points and business goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in crafting compelling RFP responses and other sales collateral.
  • Proficiency in product demonstrations and proof-of-concept creation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
