Shuttle truck driver will be responsible for shuttling product and raw materials between the manufacturing plant and our off site warehouses. This position will also back fill as a fork lift driver when business demands.

Position reports to the Shipping supervisor, as well as superintendent and others as needed.
|
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
|
- Switch the trailers between various dock stations daily (555 Oak Ridge Road and 585 Oak Ridge Road).
- Climb in & out of truck in order to unhook/hook the trailers up to the unit.
- Tester must check the wheels of each trailer placed in a dock.
- Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport & deliver cargo, materials, or damaged vehicle.
- Safe operation of company equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
- Operate forklift as needed.

- The applicant must possess a CDL License.
- The applicant must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in
- English, and have the ability to understand the policies and regulations of
- Polyglass USA, the Department of Transportation, and the various state and
- federal agencies which regulate the transportation industry.
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Be a self-starter and work independently.
- Uses logic and reason in dealing with problems.
- Adjusts to changing variables in the workplace.

- 1 year of verifiable experience utilizing CDL.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred.
|
|
|
- Automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
- Must be able to work around hot asphalt tanks, lines and pumps constantly.
