The Manville School District is seeking a dynamic and compassionate educator to join our team as an Elementary Music Teacher (Leave Replacement). This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged to explore, create, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
We are seeking a qualified candidate who:
- Holds a valid New Jersey Teacher of Music (P�12) certification
- Demonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate elementary general music instruction, including vocal, movement, and foundational music concepts
- Creates engaging, student-centered learning experiences that foster creativity, expression, and joy in music
- Demonstrates knowledge of best instructional practices and research-based intervention within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
- Builds and maintains a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Teacher of Music (P�12) certification
- Experience and/or strong interest in elementary general music instruction, including creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young learners
Salary Range: To be determined based on years of experience ($66,705-$95,850)
