Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing Supervisor located in Coimbatore. The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to production schedules, and maintain quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, inspecting production processes, supervising team members, and implementing operational improvements. The role also involves resolving production issues, ensuring workplace safety, and promoting efficient use of resources.
Job Role:
- Proven Supervisory Skills, including the ability to manage and motivate teams efficiently
- Experience with Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes to ensure consistent standards
- Strong Communication and Training skills to guide team members and enable smooth workflow
- Knowledge of safety protocols and operational efficiency techniques is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling production lines for electronic component assembly
- Experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and leaded component assembly is mandatory
- Knowledge of SMT line programming, machine operation, error detection, and corrective/preventive actions
- Ability to identify production defects and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Strong manpower management and team handling skills
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. in ECE or EEE ( Electrical and Electronics Only)
- Knowledge of systems and ISO/IATF quality processes will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Panasonic / Yamaha / Fuji machines is an advantage
- Responsible and problem-solving mindset
- Willing to work in shifts if required
