Role Description The Manufacturing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the shop floor. The role includes planning and organizing manufacturing operations, allocating resources, monitoring workflow, and ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently. The Manufacturing Supervisor coordinates with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, resolve production issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Daily responsibilities also involve guiding and mentoring production team members, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, maintaining documentation, and reporting performance metrics to management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead teams, delegate tasks, manage performance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations skills to schedule work, optimize resources, manage production lines, and ensure timely delivery.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product quality, enforce standards, support inspections, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, engineering, quality, and management, and to document and report production activities clearly.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments, with familiarity in machining, CNC operations, or close-tolerance component production.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and compliance.
