As Mecwin enters the next phase of growth, all manufacturing operations are being integrated into one large centralized manufacturing facility with six dedicated business verticals operating under one roof.
The company is now looking for a highly capable Plant Head who can independently manage complex multi-product manufacturing operations with strong focus on productivity, manpower utilization, planning, quality, delivery commitments, and cost optimization.

Role Summary
The Plant Head will be responsible for complete manufacturing operations management across all business verticals under one integrated manufacturing campus.
The role requires a young, energetic, highly disciplined, execution-focused manufacturing leader capable of handling multi-tasking operations, fast-changing production priorities, manpower allocation, supply chain coordination, and delivery management across multiple product categories simultaneously.
The Plant Head will act as the central operational authority responsible for ensuring:
- On-time deliveries
- Optimum manpower utilization
- Minimum production cost
- Zero production confusion
- Controlled inventory
- Smooth inter-department coordination
- Production discipline and reporting systems
Business Verticals to be Managed
The Plant Head should be capable of handling operations related to:
1. EV Motors & Controllers
2. Aerospace & Defence Products
3. Industrial Automation & Material Handling Systems
4. Solar Pump Systems
5. Wiring Harness Manufacturing
6. R&D Prototype and Custom Development Projects
Departments Under Plant Head

Note:
- Dedicated Quality Team will function independently.
- Plant Head must work closely with Quality Head to ensure zero quality compromise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
- Ensure smooth production execution across all verticals.
- Balance manpower and machine utilization between divisions based on production demand.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure minimum production downtime.
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives continuously.
2. Production Planning & Delivery Management
- Prepare and monitor production schedules based on customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with all business heads regarding delivery priorities.
- Ensure material availability before production start.
- Prevent line stoppages due to planning failures.
- Maintain strong follow-up mechanism for pending orders.
3. Manpower Planning & Utilization
- Optimize manpower allocation across verticals.
- Build cross-functional workforce culture.
- Ensure production manpower discipline and accountability.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, overtime, and operator efficiency.
- Develop line leaders and supervisors.
4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory movement and stock accuracy.
- Ensure proper coordination between stores, purchase, and production.
- Avoid excess inventory and material shortages.
- Improve inventory turnover.
- Drive supplier coordination for timely inward materials.
5. Cost Control & Productivity
- Reduce manufacturing cost continuously.
- Improve production efficiency and output.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.
- Improve machine and manpower productivity.
- Support value engineering initiatives.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Daily operational reporting to business heads.
- Weekly reporting to Board of Directors.
- Conduct production review meetings.
- Maintain transparent production dashboards and MIS systems.
- Escalate operational risks proactively.
7. Process Discipline & Factory Management
- Implement manufacturing discipline across all departments.
- Maintain 5S, safety, and production systems.
- Ensure proper material flow inside plant.
- Improve shop floor organization and process control.
- Support ERP/Zoho-based production tracking systems.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- MBA Operations preferred
Experience
- Minimum 8 to 15 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum 3+ years handling complete plant operations
- Experience in motor manufacturing / automotive / industrial manufacturing preferred
- Experience handling multi-product manufacturing environment is mandatory
