Clarion Cosmetics based in Chennai, is a leading Indian contract manufacturer of beauty, personal care, and home care products. As the largest nail enamel manufacturer in South Asia and a top private labeler, they provide turnkey solutions including R&D, manufacturing, and packaging for major brands.

Role Description

We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of machinery to ensure the high-quality manufacturing of beauty and personal care products. You will work closely with the production supervisor to meet daily targets while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment (mixing, filling, or packaging machines) to ensure efficient output.
• Material Handling: Assist in the movement and preparation of raw materials and finished goods; ensure the correct dosage of ingredients as per batch records.
• Compliance & SOPs: Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain product consistency.
• Safety & Maintenance: Follow all workplace safety guidelines and PPE requirements. Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment (CIP/SIP) to prevent downtime.
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products during the manufacturing process to identify and report any defects or irregularities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production logs and reporting sheets.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Minimum 10th Pass or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in a relevant technical trade.
• Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in Cosmetics, Pharma, or FMCG is a plus).

Skills:

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and safety signs.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and stand for extended periods.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per gross month (depending on experience).
