Role Description
This is an internship role for a Manufacturing Engineer Fresher, based on-site in Coimbatore. The candidate will actively learn and contribute to manufacturing engineering processes, analyzing production workflows, optimizing industrial practices, and assisting in machining operations. Hands-on involvement in manufacturing activities, process refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives will be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering techniques
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and Mechanical Engineering concepts
- Familiarity with Machining operations and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment on-site
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
🔧 Your Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern - Production & Operations, you will support production, assembly, testing, and process improvement activities for Reneonix machines.
This is a hands on shop floor role, offering direct exposure to manufacturing workflows, industrial assemblies, and real-world production challenges. You will work closely with design, manufacturing, mechanical, and quality teams to ensure machines are built, tested, and delivered efficiently.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Support assembly and manufacturing of machine.
- Assist in production planning, material tracking, and BOM verification
- Support testing, fitment checks, and functional validation of machines
- Identify and help resolve manufacturing and assembly issues on the shop floor.
- Assist in process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for fabrication, machining, and sheet metal parts
- Support quality inspections, rework, and corrective actions as required
