Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manufacturing Engineer role based in Ranipet... The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety within client manufacturing facilities. Daily tasks include analyzing production workflows, conducting time and motion studies, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement lean and cost-effective solutions. The role involves preparing technical documentation, process instructions, and reports, coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams on machinery and tooling, and supporting new product introductions and line setups. The Manufacturing Engineer will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and provide technical guidance to production staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of core Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes, including process optimization and production planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Industrial Engineering, such as workflow analysis, productivity improvement, and layout planning.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including understanding of machinery, tooling, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Machining processes, machine tools, and related quality and safety practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in sectors such as automotive, engineering, or industrial products.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and basic understanding of CAM or CNC programming is an advantage.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
