Role Description:
The Manufacturing Cost Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position oversees cost control activities within manufacturing operations, including monitoring production costs, analyzing variances, and ensuring adherence to budget and cost targets. The role involves preparing and reviewing cost reports, supporting project cost control, and providing data-driven insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency. The manager collaborates with production, finance, and project teams to implement cost management strategies, optimize resource usage, and maintain accurate cost records. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, establishing cost-related KPIs, and supporting management with timely, clear cost analyses and recommendations.
- Cost controlling & Variance reporting
- Good knowledge on Standard Price, MAP, PPV
- MCV analysis
- Well versed in Budget Preparation & Documentation
- Acquaintance with Estimation & Costing of Casting cum Machining parts, Laser cut parts, Fabrication & assembly parts
- Well versed with Manufacturing cost calculation
- Product costing
- Inventory controlling
- Inventory adjustment with proper analysis
- Co-ordinate with internal auditor to close open points related to MLCO role
- Exposure and hands on SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA
- SAP PP, MM, CO
Qualification:
- BE Mechanical/IE/IM / MBA Finance
- Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret cost data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in cost reporting and project control, including variance analysis and budgeting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing cost accounting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial or process manufacturing, preferably in a global or matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience.
