About Strux Digital
Strux Digital is an Media and Martech Company building products at the intersection of AI and the Indian creator economy. Our current portfolio spans a B2C SaaS platform, a content brand, and an advisory practice — all operating simultaneously under one founding team.
We are a small, fast team. Everyone owns outcomes, not tasks. Interns here are not support staff — they are the execution layer for functions that matter.
The AI-Native Standard
Every intern at Strux Digital is issued an AI tool plan and trained on how to use it for their specific role. The expectation is not doing the same work faster — it is producing 10x the output at the same time cost. If you are not using AI to multiply your throughput, you are underperforming by definition.
You will be trained on prompt engineering, AI-assisted research, using AI for quality loops, and compressing multi-hour tasks into minutes. No prior AI experience required. Willingness to learn fast is non-negotiable.
What You Are Joining
• A live, deployed product with active users in the market
• A founder-led team where you report directly to the founding team
• An AI-first work culture where tools are provided and output is the standard
• Work that ships publicly — it ranks, converts, or breaks and gets fixed
• Direct reference and recommendation from the founding team based on performance
Compensation & Terms
• Stipend: Rs. 5,000/month
• Duration: 3 months
• Performance-based placement offer at the end of the engagement
• WFO — Hyderabad, Secunderabad
Role Summary
This intern owns end-to-end manual testing for a live consumer SaaS product. The product processes user-submitted content through an AI pipeline and returns structured outputs. This intern tests every user flow, every language, every edge case — and documents failures with precision before they reach real users.
Responsibilities
Test Coverage
• Execute full end-to-end test cycles across all core user flows: onboarding, trial activation, content submission, output generation, payment, and post-payment access
• Test across multiple Indian language inputs — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, English — independently for each
• Test code-switching inputs — mixed language within the same content piece
• Test edge cases: very long inputs, poor audio quality, multi-speaker content, non-standard formats
Bug Documentation
• Maintain a structured bug log: flow tested, input used, expected output, actual output, severity rating
• Severity categories: blocks conversion, degrades quality, cosmetic
• Deliver one weekly test report — table format, no narrative: tests run, bugs found, severity breakdown, open issues
Regression Testing
• Run regression tests after every product deployment
• Maintain and update a regression checklist covering every critical path
Output QA
• Sign off on AI-generated output quality before it is used in external-facing contexts
• Standard: would this output create confidence or doubt in a first-time recipient
AI-Assisted Testing
• Use AI tools to generate and maintain test case libraries from user flows
• Use AI to draft bug reports from raw notes in under 2 minutes
• Use AI to run output consistency scoring across language variants
Technical Specifications
Required
• Familiarity with web application flows — can navigate and stress-test a SaaS product without guidance
• Ability to write structured bug reports: steps to reproduce, expected vs actual, environment details
• Basic understanding of how APIs and AI outputs work — enough to distinguish a transcription error from a UI bug
• Comfort with spreadsheets for logging — Google Sheets or Excel, structured data entry
• Familiarity with browser developer tools — inspect element, console errors, network tab basics
Good to Have
• Exposure to any test management tool — Notion, Linear, Jira, or even a structured Google Sheet
• Prior experience testing a mobile or web product, even informally
• Understanding of what an API call looks like and how to read a basic error response
• Familiarity with prompt-based AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — at a user level
AI Tools You Will Use
• Claude or ChatGPT — for generating test cases, drafting bug reports, scoring output quality
• Sheets/Notion with AI integrations — for maintaining logs and weekly reports
• Loom or equivalent — for recording and documenting bug reproduction flows
Mindset Required
— You are the last line of defence before a broken product reaches a paying customer.
— You do not assume something works because it worked yesterday. Every deploy is a new test.
— You document what you see, not what you think caused it. Leave interpretation to the engineer.
— You treat a cosmetic bug and a conversion blocker very differently — and you know which is which.
— You are not here to be agreeable. If something is broken, you say so clearly.
— You use AI to go faster, not to skip the thinking. A bad AI-generated test case is worse than no test case.
Weekly Output
One structured test report every Friday: tests run, new bugs with severity, resolved bugs, open issues, outputs signed off. Table format only.
Who Should Apply
• Detail-oriented — you find bugs others miss because you test flows, not features
• Fluent in at least one Indian language — Telugu, Hindi, or Tamil — for output quality assessment
• Comfortable doing repetitive, methodical work without supervision
• Not diplomatic about broken things — clear, factual bug reporting is the job
• Willing to learn AI tools from week one
