Job Title: Manual Tester (API Testing)

Experience:2–4 Years

Qualification:

B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Job Location:

Madhapur, Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2–4 years of experience, including strong expertise in API testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications

Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios

Conduct API testing using tools like Postman

Validate RESTful APIs, request/response structures, and status codes

Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

Verify data integrity and backend validation through API responses

Participate in test planning and test execution activities

Ensure timely delivery of quality software releases

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts

Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST APIs preferred)

Experience with tools like Postman

Good understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)

Familiarity with JSON/XML data formats

Experience in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla

Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes

Basic understanding of SQL queries for database validation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
