We are looking for a detail-oriented
Manual Tester with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, especially within the Insurance domain, and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and system testing
- Identify, log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA
- Prepare and maintain test documentation using Confluence
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and defect triage meetings
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality testing outcomes
Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in Manual Testing (3–5 years)
- Prior experience working with Insurance domain projects (mandatory)
- Experience working with QA teams in Insurance companies is a plus
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
Domain-Specific Requirements
- Proven experience in Insurance domain testing (mandatory)
- Familiarity with insurance workflows, policies, and systems
- ISTQB certification is mandatory
