Job Description Role Summary The Intern will work with Project Controller and is responsible within the product development process, for the commercial aspects, especially for achieving the best profitability on the assigned projects, from start of the project till end of the project. By performing the necessary tasks and following the relevant guidelines and PER process, using the Facton tool, he/she ensures that the project profitability is improved to reach at least the project objectives and other commercial company targets and that the project financial status is plausible, transparent, and available at any time. Main Tasks ▪ Responsibility for the coordination of the product calculation process and establishing the financial status and the economic efficiency calculation (PER) of a project for each required sales channel (OEM/OES/IAM) and as a combination of different sales channels (OEM+OES+IAM) where required, from start of the project till end of the project, by using the Facton tool. ▪ Perform the target costing, especially during the quotation phase. ▪ Define bottom line prices during the quotation phase considering M+H overall target result with focus on project result (PR) and internal rate of return (IRR). ▪ Ensure that all projects are in line with product costing guideline and investment guideline. ▪ Ensure the standard cost calculation for completeness and plausibility and verify the plausibility and necessity of project budgets and investments. ▪ Ensure receiving required PER approvals in time (focus on customer quote due dates) by using the PER approval guideline. ▪ Plan, coordinate and perform all project related activities in accordance with the MANN+HUMMEL development process (xSEP) to ensure the achievement according to the timing and commercial targets and conducts the Project Maturity Confirmation with the supervisor in time. ▪ Responsibility of transferring the required data from Facton to BW in time. ▪ Ensuring the capitalization of the R&D budget according to the guideline for each site. ▪ Support sales in the process of market price determination for the products. ▪ Support of Sales department at price argumentation in negotiations with our customers. ▪ Support the PM and Lead Designer for tracking and analyzing the project budget. ▪ Support corrective actions initiated by the PM. ▪ Support lost order analysis. ▪ Support the CAPEX / investment request and approval process. Your Profile Project targets ▪ Project result development G1 to G7 of each project ▪ Project result development on a yearly base ▪ On time delivery of PER approvals to meet customer quote due dates ▪ On time delivery of commercial information for the project gate review and functional review done and signed. ▪ Team meeting attendance. Experience ▪ CA-Inter or CMA-Inter or University degree in Finance or other relevant field of education with specialization in Accounting/Commerce ▪ Min. 0 to 2 years of work experience in product controlling, costing / calculations, and product development ▪ MS Office skills ▪ SAP skills ▪ Fluency in English (written and spoken)
