Location: Onsite – Hanover Park, IL; Wilson, NC; Goldsboro, NC; Washington, NC (flexible across locations)
Duration: 1–2 semesters, ideally 6 months + (20-30 hours per week)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Procurement Analyst Intern will support the procurement team by contributing to data-driven projects, supplier analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role offering real-world experience in global sourcing and procurement strategy within a manufacturing environment. Interns will have the opportunity to present their work and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Main Tasks

Assist the procurement team with spend analysis and cost optimization initiatives
Support evaluation of supplier performance, pricing, and sourcing strategies
Conduct research on global suppliers, materials, and market trends
Assist with preparation and analysis of RFQs (Request for Quotes)
Engage cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance teams
Contribute to procurement documentation, reporting, and data tracking
Support continuous improvement and process optimization efforts
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.5 required
Candidates must be prepared to upload an unofficial copy of their transcript during the application process
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
