We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our US-based global clients, a recognized provider of flexible and scalable outsourced warehousing solutions designed to support the evolving demands of modern supply chains.

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Manager Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM) Consultant with 3+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Manhattan Active Transportation Management (TMS) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in transportation systems, supply chain logistics, and cloud-native SaaS environments, along with hands-on experience delivering scalable transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration :

• Implement and configure Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM) solutions to support transportation planning, execution, and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into functional system Collaboration :
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand transportation requirements and system needs.
• Provide solution recommendations aligned with business goals.
  
  

System Design & Testing

• Design and test transportation workflows, routing logic, rate management, and carrier communication processes.
• Ensure optimal configuration for transportation planning and execution.
  
  

System Integration

• Integrate MATM with enterprise systems such as WMS, OMS, and third-party logistics platforms using APIs and microservices.
  
  

Support & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues related to MATM.
• Provide production support and system troubleshooting.
  
  

System Enhancement & Maintenance

• Assist with system upgrades, patching, and ongoing improvements within the Manhattan Active cloud environment.
• Monitor system performance and suggest enhancements.
  
  

Training & Documentation

• Support end-user training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Manhattan Active Transportation Management (or Manhattan TMS with transition to Active).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native TMS architecture, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience in transportation operations including TL, LTL, parcel, and intermodal.
• Knowledge of transportation optimization, rating engines, and carrier selection processes.
• Hands-on experience configuring workflows in Manhattan Active TMS.
• Familiarity with JIRA and SaaS environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating MATM with other Manhattan Active modules such as WMS and OMS.
• Familiarity with JSON, Postman, API calls, and cloud integration tools.
• Knowledge of EDI message standards (204, 214, 990, 210) and transportation data formats.
• Experience working in high-volume retail, 3PL, or manufacturing environments.
