Role Overview
We are seeking Manga Specialists to serve as the ultimate authority on IP fidelity in AI-generated content. This role requires deep expertise across the expansive world of manga and anime, with the ability to accurately identify characters, series, and distinct artistic styles. The primary objective is to ensure that AI outputs preserve both the “soul” and technical specifications of iconic intellectual properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Character & IP Identification:
- Rapidly recognize characters and series based on visual cues such as line art, costume design, and signature poses.
- Art Style Attribution:
- Distinguish between the unique styles of renowned mangaka, identifying nuances in line work, composition, and visual tone.
- Fidelity Testing:
- Evaluate whether AI-generated content adheres to canonical visual standards, ensuring it does not incorrectly blend or misrepresent distinct IPs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Domain Expertise:
- Background as a Manga Editor, scanlation specialist, or art historian with a focus on Japanese media.
- Encyclopedic Knowledge:
- Extensive familiarity with a wide range of manga and anime, including lesser-known (“B-tier” and “C-tier”) characters and series beyond mainstream titles.
- Nuance Detection:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle inaccuracies, such as incorrect character attributes (e.g., eye color, weapons, or stylistic inconsistencies) or AI-generated “hallucinations.”
