Therefore, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work. You will receive the Essential Car User Allowance. Driving Licence – The successful candidate should hold a full clean driving licence as you will be required to drive a vehicle adhering to council regulations. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here. We have a policy on the Employment of Ex-Offenders and it is available upon request. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reablement performance team! The Reablement service supports vulnerable adults to remain at home and be as independent as possible. We have a team of over 250 Support Workers delivering services across Manchester. Using strength-based models of working we support people in their own homes, on a short-term basis, with a variety of daily living tasks including maintaining personal hygiene, preparing food, accessing community resources and managing day to day risks. The support the service provides ranges from motivation and confidence building to more practical assistance. We will work with individual people to agree achievable, person-centred goals and develop support plans which promote independence and focus and the things that matter to them. The service operates across the whole of Manchester and includes the following teams: · North Reablement Team · Central Reablement Team · South reablement Team · Complex Care Team · Short Term Intervention Team · Crisis Clean Team · The Review Team - The Performance Team The role holder will have a key role with regards to data and systems within Reablement which includes all the teams mentioned above and be able to cleanse data, ensure accuracy and then manipulate the data into reports that will be distributed to various stakeholders. They will have awareness and confidence of technology and be able to support this to ensure efficiency within the service. They will also review technology that is in place and ensure this is supporting standards and service development. The role holder will be confident in communicating practises and showcasing data to various stakeholders. The candidate should have the following attributes: Have excellent time management skills Be confident to deal with high amounts of data and being able to manipulate this accurately. Have knowledge of Microsoft and BI systems. Be confident in technology and be developing your knowledge in emerging technologies. Be able to organise and plan accordingly. High knowledge of data processes and data modelling. Be confident in what you do Be well organised and proactive Be able to manage your workload and have the art of delegation, fostering trust and confidence within your team Be able to inspire your team and facilitate a collaborative working environment. To able to establish clear processes and structures to ensure that targets and objectives are met. Be able to prioritise tasks based on urgency and importance, allocating resources wisely and setting realistic timelines.
