Hiring: Team Lead – English Editorial (CBSE / ICSE School Publishing)
I am looking for an experienced editorial professional to lead our English school publishing program for CBSE and ICSE schools.
The role involves leading a team of editors and subject specialists developing high-quality textbooks and learning resources for middle and senior school students.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and mentor the English editorial team
• Drive development of textbooks, workbooks and learning resources
• Ensure strong alignment with CBSE and ICSE curriculum frameworks
• Work with authors, reviewers and designers to maintain high editorial standards
• Oversee schedules, quality benchmarks and project delivery
Requirements
• Experience in school publishing or educational publishing
• Familiarity with CBSE and/or ICSE English curriculum
• Experience managing editorial teams or leading editorial projects
• Strong editorial judgement and language skills
This is a leadership role, so prior experience in editorial decision-making and team coordination will be important.
