Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Managing Editor located in Chennai. As a Managing Editor, you will oversee editorial operations, ensuring all content meets quality standards, aligns with strategic objectives, and adheres to deadlines. Responsibilities include managing editorial teams, establishing and refining processes, assigning and reviewing content, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the impact and reach of published materials. You will also provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to editorial staff to maintain high industry standards.
Qualifications
- Editorial excellence, including editing, proofreading, and quality control
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to develop and implement workflows, processes, and editorial guidelines
- Proficiency in digital content strategy, SEO, and audience engagement
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team management capabilities
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on achieving measurable results
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
- Experience or knowledge in AI-driven technologies or data-centric industries is a plus
