Role Description The Manager Textile role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Manager Textile will oversee day-to-day textile inspection operations, including planning and supervising inspection activities, reviewing quality reports, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. This role will coordinate with production units, vendors, and buyers to address quality issues, manage corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The manager will also be responsible for training and guiding inspection staff, monitoring performance, and implementing best practices in textile testing and quality control. Additional responsibilities include preparing documentation, supporting audits, and contributing to process optimization to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong background in textiles, fabric construction, garment manufacturing, and quality control processes.
- Experience managing inspection or quality assurance teams in textiles, apparel, or related industries.
- Knowledge of textile testing methods, international quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in documentation, report preparation, and basic data analysis for quality trends.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, handle multiple priorities, and make timely decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience with export buyers, third-party inspections, or buying offices is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email) for reporting and coordination.
