Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager - Testing & Commissioning, based in Gurugram. The role involves overseeing and conducting the testing and commissioning of renewable energy projects, such as solar and wind installations. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing test plans, coordinating with internal and external teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, troubleshooting issues, generating detailed reports, and ensuring project timelines are met. The Manager will also contribute to optimizing system performance and supporting the handover process to operations teams.
Qualifications
- Strong experience and knowledge in testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems, including solar and wind power projects
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analyzing technical issues during testing and commissioning
- Proficient in project planning, coordination, and executing test procedures according to safety and industry standards
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Proven ability to generate clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes in renewable energy projects
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
- Relevant certifications in renewable energy or related fields are a plus
- Previous experience in asset management or operational roles in renewable energy projects is an added advantage
