Job Summary**
Recruiting is a specialized area of staffing and recruiting focused on attracting and placing prospective employees including: Promoting the organization’s image as a desirable place to work. Attracting, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates. Recommending placement of internal and external candidates for entry-level and experienced positions. Referring applicants for particular job openings, administering pre-employment tests, checking references, conducting exit interviews for candidates declining offers, and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates. May assist with job advertising and posting A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include: Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned with Hitachi's global business objectives and culture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Partner closely with hiring managers across various departments to understand their staffing needs and provide effective recruitment solutions.
- Leverage data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify areas for improvement, and report on TA performance to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
- Champion employer branding initiatives to position Hitachi as an employer of choice in the market.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and recruitment technologies to continuously enhance TA processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a recruitment team in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of various recruitment methodologies, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic talent acquisition plans.
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
