Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Stores with 8–10 years of experience in store and inventory management, preferably in solar EPC, construction, or infrastructure project sites. The candidate will be responsible for managing overall store operations at the project site, handling material inventory, coordinating with procurement teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for project execution.

The role requires strong inventory management skills, site coordination, and the ability to resolve material-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations Management
    • Manage overall store operations at the project site.
    • Oversee material receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch.
    • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials used in solar ground-mounted EPC projects such as modules, structures, cables, and electrical components.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
    • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of project materials.
    • Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
  • Material Planning & Coordination
    • Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material supply.
    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements.
    • Ensure materials are issued to project teams as per approved requisitions.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain proper documentation including GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue notes, and stock registers.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
    • Update inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Site Issue Management
    • Address material shortages, damages, or discrepancies at the project site.
    • Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to resolve supply-related issues.
    • Ensure minimal disruption to project activities due to material delays.
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory management procedures.
    • Maintain safe and organized store areas in line with safety standards.
    • Support internal audits and ensure proper documentation for inventory checks.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise store executives and store assistants at the site.
    • Ensure proper coordination between stores, procurement, and project teams.
    • Provide guidance and training to store staff on inventory processes.
Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or Any Graduate.
    • 8–10 years of experience in store and inventory management, preferably in solar EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.
    • Experience handling site-level store operations and material management.
Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of materials used in solar ground-mounted EPC projects.
    • Experience working with ERP systems or inventory management software.
    • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage large volumes of project materials at site locations.
