Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager Statutory Audit located in Pune. The individual will lead end-to-end statutory auditing processes, overseeing audit planning, execution, and reporting. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, supervising audit teams, managing client relationships, and addressing audit observations. The role also involves providing clients with insights on internal controls and risk assessments while ensuring overall audit quality and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Expertise in areas of statutory audits, financial reporting, and standards interpretation
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and internal controls
- Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and guide audit teams effectively
- Proficiency in communicating findings and collaborating with clients and stakeholders
- Minimum qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in statutory auditing
- Thorough understanding of applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and audit methodologies
- Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience in handling audits for medium and large organizations, particularly in the Indian business context
