Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Tamil Nadu for a Manager / Sr. Manager - Procurement. The role involves overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, evaluating and selecting vendors, and negotiating contracts. Responsibilities also include contract management, inventory monitoring, and ensuring the procurement process aligns with the company's cost efficiency and quality goals. Additionally, fostering strategic partnerships and leveraging analytics to forecast procurement needs form a critical part of this role.
What you’ll do:
- Lead end-to-end procurement for EV components and manufacturing
- Build and strengthen a reliable vendor ecosystem
- Drive cost optimization and commercial negotiations
- Ensure seamless coordination with production and R&D teams
- Support scale-up of our manufacturing operations
What we’re looking for:
- 8–10 years in procurement (Automobile / EV / Manufacturing preferred)
- Strong in vendor development, negotiation, and cost control
- Hands-on with ERP systems
- Execution-focused with a strong ownership mindset
