Role Description The Manager/Senior Manager Finance role at Coforge is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting for assigned business units or projects. The individual will monitor financial performance, prepare management reports and dashboards, and support decision-making with data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with relevant policies and standards, and coordination with internal and external auditors. The role also includes optimizing working capital, reviewing contracts and commercial terms, supporting cost-control initiatives, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, management dashboards, and preparation of executive summaries for leadership.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, controllership processes, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Experience in cost management, margin improvement, and commercial/contract review for IT or services organizations.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders, communicate complex financial information clearly, and support strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent experience in corporate finance.
- Prior experience in a managerial finance role within IT services or a similar industry is highly beneficial.
