Role: Manager – Specification (Waterproofing)
Location: Goa
Job Description:
- Specifications
- Engage with AIDs and IDs and introduce and secure Pidilite Interior solutions specifications.
- Ensure Pidilite interior solutions are specified in major projects by effectively demonstrating technical and commercial advantages.
- Build strong professional relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term specification opportunities in the AID and ID firms
- Classify accounts as per the relationship index criteria.
- Specification to Work order Conversions
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure specifications translate into confirmed orders and business growth.
- Provide sales teams with insights on specifications, helping them strategize for higher conversion rates.
- AID and IDs Outreach
- Independently conduct technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations for AIDs and IDs
- Achieve desired number of active AID and ID Accounts actively specifying out of total number of Architects handled.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Keep track of competitor specifications and analyse trends in AID and ID segment,
- Identify specification gaps and suggest corrective actions to improve market positioning.
- Share real-time feedback with reporting seniors for product innovation and competitors refined / new approach with AIDs and IDs
- Governance
- Actively participate in internal reviews conducted in the region as per the laid down process.
- OAAP/MIS to be made and submitted on time and as per index
- Capability Enhancement
- Map the projects of assigned influencer accounts and other sources/publications to build a progressive project pipeline.
- Engage with consultants and end customers to clarify project design needs, recommend suitable products/systems, and create awareness about focus products.
- Allocate project leads to internal stakeholders for maturing and successful order conversion.
- Conduct presentations on focus products and differentiated systems to enhance product visibility and awareness.
- Build strong relationships with assigned influencer accounts through regular engagement and relationship-building initiatives.
- Monitor consultant preferences, competitors' activities, product trends, and market dynamics.
- Benchmark products and systems against competitors, identify gaps/superiorities, and work with internal teams to improve the product proposition.
- Drive new product rollouts in the market and gather customer feedback to improve offerings.
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B. Tech or Science graduation is must.
- 5-10 Years in business development & specification experience.
- The ideal candidate will have strategic vision and industry expertise to drive success
- Local candidate will be preferred
