Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in network security, enterprise networking infrastructure, and security architecture design. The candidate will be responsible for securing, designing, implementing, and supporting network and security infrastructure across enterprise and campus environments, while collaborating closely with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Security Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and support secure enterprise and campus networks
- Hands‑on expertise with:
- Routers, Switches, Access Points
- Wireless Controllers
- Firewalls and Security Gateways
- Implement network segmentation, VLANs, NAC, and policy‑based access control
Cybersecurity Operations
- Deploy, configure, and manage network security devices, including:
- Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS)
- Anti‑virus and malware protection solutions
- Monitor network security events and respond to incidents
- Support vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and remediation activities
Wireless & Network Design
- Conduct wireless site surveys (passive, active, predictive)
- Design and optimize Wi‑Fi networks for performance, scalability, and security
- Create high‑availability, resilient network architectures
Implementation & Troubleshooting
- Perform network and security implementations, migrations, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot complex network, wireless, and security issues
- Analyse packet captures, logs, and traffic patterns
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare:
- Network & security design documents (HLD, LLD)
- Implementation and migration plans
- Security policies, SOPs, and operational runbooks
- Ensure alignment with industry security best practices and compliance requirements
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with customers, internal teams, and vendors
- Participate in presales discussions, solution reviews, and technical workshops
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Technical Skills Required
Networking
- Strong knowledge of:
- TCP/IP, routing & switching fundamentals
- VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP basics
- Enterprise LAN/WAN design
- Experience with network devices (any major OEM):
- Cisco / Aruba / Juniper / Ruckus / HPE / equivalent
Wireless
- WLAN architecture and troubleshooting
- RF fundamentals, coverage planning, capacity planning
- Wireless security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, NAC)
Security
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Firewalls, security gateways
- Anti‑virus and endpoint security
- Network security policies and rule management
- Understanding of:
- Zero Trust concepts
- Network access control (NAC)
- Secure network design principles
Soft Skills & Professional Attributes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer‑facing mindset with problem‑solving ability
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Willingness to learn emerging cybersecurity technologies
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Industry certifications such as:
- CCNP / CCNA Security
- PCNSA / PCNSE / Fortinet NSE
- Wireless certifications (CWNA, Aruba, etc.)
- Experience with SOC environments or security monitoring tools
- Exposure to cloud networking/security (AWS, Azure – basic understanding)
