Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Managerial role.. The role involves overseeing the financial and accounting operations, preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing budgets. The Managerial Accounts will provide leadership to the finance team, implement effective internal controls, and contribute to strategic financial planning. This position also includes liaising with external auditors and stakeholders, managing cash flow, and identifying opportunities for financial improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee bookkeeping, accounting operations, and MIS reporting
Ensure statutory compliance including GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements
Manage and coordinate statutory audits and financial documentation
Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting
Implement and improve financial processes, automation, and internal controls
Collaborate with internal teams and management to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Accounting and Financial Management: Expertise in managing financial statements, budgets, ledger management, and cash flow analysis.
- Compliance and Reporting: Deep understanding of tax regulations, compliance laws, and coordination with external auditors.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in mentoring and leading finance teams effectively.
- Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations for process improvements.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with financial software, accounting tools, and Excel.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a CPA, CA, or MBA is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the packaging or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
