Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and commercially strong Manager/Senior Manager – OEM Sales to lead business development and strategic account acquisition across EV OEMs, battery manufacturers, and BESS ecosystem players in India.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B/OEM sales within EVs, Batteries, Energy Storage, or allied clean-tech industries and should be comfortable handling long sales cycles, technical discussions, solution selling, and strategic partnerships.
This role requires a strong hunter mindset combined with relationship-building capabilities across founders, procurement teams, engineering teams, and CXO stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and OEM partnerships across:
- Electric Vehicle OEMs
- Battery Manufacturers
- BESS Companies
- Fleet & Energy Ecosystem Players
- Identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities for Ursaa’s Battery Intelligence and IoT/SaaS solutions.
- Build and manage OEM sales pipeline from lead generation to commercial closure.
- Develop strong relationships with:
Founders & CXOs
Procurement Teams
Product & Engineering Teams
Strategy & Operations Stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal product, deployment, and leadership teams for solution presentations, pilots, and commercial rollouts.
- Participate in industry events, EV ecosystem engagements, exhibitions, and strategic networking initiatives.
- Track industry trends, competitor landscape, OEM expansion activities, and emerging opportunities in EV and energy storage markets.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets aligned with company growth objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4–8 years of experience in B2B/OEM sales.
- Prior experience in:
- Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Battery Industry
- Energy Storage/BESS
- EV Components / Clean Mobility / Energy Tech
- Proven experience in developing and managing OEM accounts in India.
- Strong understanding of EV ecosystem dynamics, battery technologies, and SaaS/IoT-led solution selling.
- Ability to independently drive enterprise sales conversations and strategic partnerships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with travel across India for customer meetings and industry engagements.
- Startup experience or high-growth environment exposure will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
