Job Description
Manager / Senior Analyst – Regulatory, Open Access & Commercial Modelling
Location: India, remote/hybrid
Experience: 3–7 years
Employment type: Full-time
Reports to: Senior Manager / AVP – Open Access, Group Captive & Power Markets
Role purpose
We are hiring a detail-oriented regulatory and commercial professional to support open
access and power procurement transactions through policy tracking, commercial
analysis, cost modelling, and transaction support. This person will work closely with the
senior lead to turn opportunities into execution-ready deals.
Key Responsibilities
Track and summarize state-level open access rules, orders, procedures, and
regulatory changes relevant to C&I consumers.
Build and maintain landed-cost models comparing grid power, third-party open
access, captive, group captive, and short-term power procurement options.
Support evaluation of charges, losses, banking assumptions, scheduling
implications, and commercial savings scenarios.
Prepare customer-facing presentations, commercial notes, and internal
decision-support materials for developers and oƯtakers.
Conduct market research on pricing trends, policy developments, and
procurement options aƯecting renewable power deals.
Support proposal preparation, term-sheet comparisons, and transaction
documentation coordination.
Maintain a database of state-wise open access assumptions, charges, andpractical process notes.
Coordinate with legal, regulatory, operations, and business teams to keep
transaction workstreams moving.
Support due diligence for prospective projects and clients by organizing data,
risks, assumptions, and approval requirements.
Required Experience
3–7 years of experience in energy consulting, renewable commercial analysis,
regulatory research, power procurement, or power market analytics.
Good understanding of energy markets, policy/regulatory frameworks, and
commercial analysis.
Strong Excel Skills And Experience In Financial/commercial Modelling.
Ability to convert complex policy and pricing information into clear internal and
client-ready insights.
