POSITION DETAILS
Designation: Manager- SAP HANA
Business Unit: Corporate Functions
Function: Finance
Location: Head-Office, Mumbai
Reporting to: Sr. VP- Finance
ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE
The SAP Finance Manager (FICO) will be responsible to design, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA financial solutions, including General Ledger, AP/AR, and Asset Accounting. They would guide the team to deliver projects, optimize financial processes, and act as a bridge between technology and business requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead full-life cycle S/4HANA implementations, configuring FI/CO modules based on organization requirements.
Project Leadership:
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and project documentation (functional specifications, testing).
- Drive best-practice finance solutions and innovative delivery approaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned, on-time delivery
- Facilitate workshops, manage governance, and oversee project progress.
Strategic Advisory:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to advise clients on SAP functionalities, process optimization, and technology roadmaps.
Cross-functional Integration:
- Coordinate with other modules (SD, MM, PP) and non-SAP systems to ensure seamless business workflows.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems; CPA/MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- 10–15 years in SAP FICO, with experience in S/4HANA migrations, specifically.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO-PA, Product Costing)
