ABOUT CESSNA LIFELINE
Cessna Lifeline is one of India’s most established veterinary healthcare providers with over two decades of experience in advanced veterinary medicine, surgery, diagnostics, rehabilitation, grooming, and pet wellness services.
As we continue to expand our ecosystem of veterinary healthcare services, we are looking for a Sales & Operations leader who can drive growth, identify new business opportunities, and help build structured sales processes across the organization.
This role requires someone who can combine strategic thinking with operational execution while working closely with multiple departments to scale the organization.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Manager – Sales & Operations will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new revenue streams, strengthening client relationships, and building structured sales processes across Cessna Lifeline.
The individual will also play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities, service verticals, and strategic partnerships that can help expand the organization’s footprint.
This role requires close collaboration with marketing, operations, clinical teams, and leadership, ensuring that insights gathered during sales interactions translate into actionable improvements across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Revenue Growth
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across veterinary healthcare services offered by Cessna Lifeline.
· Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, partnerships, and referrals.
· Drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closure.
· Identify opportunities for new verticals, services, and partnerships that can contribute to long-term growth.
· Develop relationships with corporate clients, institutions, breeders, pet communities, and strategic partners.
Sales Strategy & Execution
· Develop short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational growth goals.
· Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling sales pitches, proposals, and campaigns.
· Translate insights gathered during client interactions into strategic recommendations for service improvements.
· Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client engagement through CRM platforms.
Sales Team Development & Training
· Build and develop a structured sales team for the organization.
· Hire, train, and mentor team members responsible for business development and client acquisition.
· Establish performance frameworks, sales targets, and reporting structures.
· Create training programs that strengthen the team’s consultative selling capabilities.
Cross-Department Stakeholder Management
· Work closely with operations teams, veterinary teams, and hospital management to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Collaborate with marketing teams to refine messaging based on insights gathered during sales engagements.
· Act as a bridge between client expectations and operational delivery.
Technology, Data & Growth Modelling
· Use technology, data analytics, and AI tools to build models that support business growth and operational efficiency.
· Implement and maintain CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM / Zoho One for sales tracking and pipeline management.
· Evaluate and adopt additional industry tools that enhance sales efficiency, automation, and reporting.
· Develop dashboards and performance tracking systems for leadership visibility.
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
· Stay updated on trends within the veterinary healthcare ecosystem, pet care industry, and service sector.
· Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to identify opportunities and partnerships.
· Build relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem.
Travel & Location Coordination
· Travel between Cessna Lifeline locations and potential partner/client locations as required.
· Support expansion initiatives across different markets.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree/ Post Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
· Proven experience managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· 3-6 years of relevant experience in sales, operations, or market development
· Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
· Experience in B2B and B2C sales
· Good understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms
· Ability to travel as per business needs
· Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
TECHNOLOGY & TOOLS
The candidate should demonstrate strong comfort with technology and digital tools, including:
· Zoho CRM / Zoho One platforms
· Sales pipeline and CRM management tools
· Data analytics platforms
· AI-powered productivity or automation tools
· Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
· Experience in using technology to build scalable sales processes and growth models will be highly valued.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Experience working in healthcare, veterinary services, hospitality, or service-based industries.
· Experience building sales teams and managing growth initiatives in expanding organizations.
· Exposure to consultative selling approaches and strategic partnerships.
