Overview
The Manager - Sales (Electrical Automation) will lead the sales efforts in the electrical automation sector, driving revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. This role focuses on cultivating customer relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring the sales team meets its targets. The ideal candidate will combine industry expertise with strong leadership to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for electrical automation products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals through coaching and performance management.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
- Generate and present accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge among team members.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in electrical automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems.
- Strong understanding of automation solutions and their application in various industries.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and methodologies related to electrical automation products.
- Ability to utilize CRM software and sales analytics tools for tracking performance and managing client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Experience working in the electrical automation sector, with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
