We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Sales at Chennai to join our Sales team on a full-time basis.
Responsibility:
- Developing and executing the Territory Sales plan and setting goals to achieve revenue targets and continuous growth.
- Building long-term relationships with existing customers, address customer satisfaction levels and build maintenance and cultivation plans, exploration of unmet needs as well as client’s blind spots, developing and nurturing relationships with key customer accounts while prioritizing client’s segments & types.
- Actively identify, prospect, and generate new business within the assigned territory, with a focus on high-value and strategic accounts.
- Mapping the competitive environment, keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors. Periodic forecast, plans and Budget preparations based on division and corporate practices.
- Work closely with RSM, marketing, applications, and support teams to ensure alignment and maximize business development & account management efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, forecast future sales, and provide regular reports on performance to senior management.
Requirements:
Academic/Professional Education: A degree level technical and engineering qualification is preferred. Above average levels of numeracy, literacy, IT and MS office skills are critical. English should be both spoken and written fluently.
Relevant Experience :5-8 years of experience in local sales management, advantage to technical engineering based sales, preferably from the electronics/sensors industry.
