Position: Manager – Raw Material
Location: Jaipur
Experience: As per the role requirements (Manufacturing/Steel Industry preferred)

Key Responsibilities- Monitor raw material inventory as per order status and update records regularly.
- Ensure physical verification of raw material as per the RM Monitoring Sheet (Google Drive), maintained through the weighbridge.
- Ensure unique lot numbers are allotted and marked on every raw material piece.
- Ensure unloading of raw material at designated locations as per the approved colour code.
- Coordinate raw material sample cutting for Spectro Testing and submit samples to the Quality Department within 7 days.
- Update raw material inventory based on testing reports and ensure rejected material is shifted to the rejection yard.
- Prepare the Internal Balance to Roll (BTR) and Rolling Programme as per the order book.
- Share the approved Rolling Programme with all concerned departments.
- Update raw material stock inventory on a daily basis.
- Maintain end-piece inventory separately by grade, size, and colour code.
- Ensure maximum utilization of end pieces as per the approved cutting plan.
- Prevent any material mixing (Grade, Length, or Feeding Sequence).
- Ensure raw material cutting is carried out strictly as per the cutting plan.
- Ensure compliance with all Control Plans, Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and Daily Maintenance procedures.
- Handle Internal Audits and Customer Audits.
- Drive 5S implementation and continuous improvement activities within the department.
- Organize and conduct training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Manage contractual manpower efficiently.
- Monitor the life of billet shearing machine blades and bolts.
- Ensure the availability of machine tools, equipment, and accessories for smooth operations.
Preferred Candidate- Candidates from Steel Manufacturing / Rolling Mill / Metal Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of raw material planning, inventory management, production coordination, and quality systems.
