We are currently seeking a Manager – R&D to join our in-house R&D team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for new product development and conducting trials to match quality, health & sensory parameters as per customer’s requirement.
· Must have knowledge of FSSAI rules & regulation, capable of label validation & product compliance based on FSSAI & legal Metrology of Food Products
· Responsible for lab scale, pilot scale trials of new products & conducting shelf-life studies.
· Study new products, scope of new products and develop the products according to market requirement.
· Responsible for improving existing recipes, generating new product ideas and recipes, testing examining samples, writing reports, and compliance.
· Responsible for application & evaluation of new ingredients (colour, flavor, starch, etc.) particular to its function
· Quality Check of raw materials/ finished goods
· Involved in the cost reduction through better sourcing of ingredients/ ingredient substitution.
- Work with cross functional teams or project managers in developing project scope and criteria, defining the technical problem, and understanding past learning’s
· Actively contribute to share knowledge and build technical skills for self/team, by attending conferences/seminars and sharing the findings with the team
Skills and Requirements
· B.Tech. / M. Tech./ M.Sc. in Food Technology/Food Science from a reputed institute.
· 3-5 years of experience in food industry, with expertise in new product development, FSSAI Regulation & Food Manufacturing preferred
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong analytical and numerical skills
· Genuine interest in science and how it is applied to food and related applications.
