Role Description
The ‘Manager - Program Management’ will be instrumental in ensuring LINC Education continues to deliver personalised learning experiences to our 40,000+ students globally. This role is critical for driving the successful execution of our online programs, optimising operational workflows, and maintaining the highest standards of delivery across our diverse portfolio. By leading key initiatives and bridging the gap between strategy and execution, you will directly impact student retention, partner satisfaction, and LINC’s global growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
- Program Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned programs, ensuring that all milestones, service-level agreements (SLAs), and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
- Resource Coordination: Manage project timelines, allocate tasks effectively within the program team, and proactively mitigate risks or bottlenecks to keep delivery on track.
- Daily Problem Solving: Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues, troubleshooting day-to-day challenges to ensure seamless program execution.
Strategic
- Process Optimisation: Evaluate existing program management workflows to identify inefficiencies, designing and implementing scalable processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Data & Analytics: Contribute towards program reporting and data management activities; analyse key performance metrics (such as student engagement and operational throughput) to generate actionable insights for leadership.
Collaborative
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with internal teams, such as Academic, Learning Design, Product/Tech, and Student Support teams, to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective delivery of all programs.
- Client Management: Collaborate with university partners and external stakeholders to understand their requirements, present progress updates, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering/Technology or a related field from a Tier-I Institution. (Master’s degree or PMP certification is strongly preferred).
Experience
- 5-6 years of experience in program, project, or operations management roles.
- Candidates with a proven track record working within the EdTech, Higher Education, or SaaS sectors, ideally handling global programs or international delivery, would be preferred.
Must-Have Skills
- Project Management Excellence: Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, timeline tracking, risk management, and handling multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Data Literacy: Advanced ability to work with data, build dashboards, interpret metrics, and use data to back up operational decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to and influence senior stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Prior experience managing programs or clients in the Australian, UK, or other global higher education sectors.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior operational team members.
Specific Requirements
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid role; expected to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
- Travel: No travel required.
- Working hours: Standard IST hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM).
- Tools / Platforms: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle or Canvas), Data Studio, and Gemini/G Suite is a plus.
